This year's Coach Euro Test was held in Italy in September and featured three candidates: Iveco Evadys, Neoplan Skyliner and Setra TopClass. An expert jury of 24 European media outlets tested the buses for three days, both on the track and on a long test drive from Modena to the Ligurian coast.
Setra impressed the jury members with its modern safety and assistance systems, high level of comfort for both driver and passengers, numerous vehicle individualization options, and high-quality production.
Till Oberwörder, CEO of Daimler Buses, received the award for Coach of the Year 2026 from Gianluca Ventura, president of the International Bus & Coach of the Year jury, at a gala event held as part of the Busworld fair in Brussels.
