Every year a jury of European journalists chooses the Bus or Coach of the Year. The jury was founded in 1989 with 12 journalists from 12 countries. By now the leading bus magazines of 24 European countries are represented in the jury.
In 1989 the award was founded to show respect to the potential and creativity of the bus manufacturers. They produce highly sophisticated solutions for everyday’s mobility needs as well as for comfortable travelling. So the award "Bus of the Year", "Coach of the Year" or "Minibus of the Year" demonstrates the high quality of this industry.
Bus, Coach & Minibus Euro Test
Bus, Coach or Minibus Euro Test includes braking and acceleration tests, driving on road by the jury members and presentations by the manufacturers. Before choosing the winner all candidates are tested intensively by the jury members. They take a close look on acceleration, braking, noise emissions, handling, comfort and safety. In the end every magazine represented in the jury votes for his favorite candidate.
